Customers wanting to purchase Time Warner Cable's IntelligenceHome security systems have to already be a customer of the company, meaning you have to have a subscription to High Speed Date service. You also have keep the High Speed Date service up to date with your IntelligenceHome security system or else your contract can be terminated. A fee may be charged to your account for running out of data on either your High Speed Date service or IntelligenceHome system. If you chose to no longer stick with Time Warner Cable's home security system, then the equipment must be returned to Time Warner Cable. Time Warner Cable only tests the home automation devices they service, so if there are any other existent fire alarm or alarm systems in your household not manufactured by Time Warner Cable, then the customer is responsible for making sure those meet the safety code. Time Warner Cable cannot accept any responsibility for any false judgement of the products and if they are meeting the customers needs. The company itself does not offer complete liability and guarantee over its products. Finally, if any legal action is need for whatever reason, it must happen within a year of the event, or else it is the customers responsibility to get it handled.
