Peak Alarm is a Salt Lake City based home security company that serves in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada. The nice thing about this company is their partnership with other companies, which makes it easier for customers to switch security systems if they happen to move out of any of those regions. Although they require a three year contract, they do have reasonable prices for up front costs and monthly rates.
The website does not cover much about their contract, aside from its length (three years).
It does not appear that Peak Alarm offers any home automation devices aside from what is offered in the two plans: the Budget Plan and Traditional Plan. The Budget Plan and Traditional Plan both come with the same things: three year contract, $99 upfront, $39/month, cellular only, includes a touch screen panel, three sensors, one motion sensor, and one key fob, and 2GIG equipment. The only difference is that the Traditional Plan uses Honeywell equipment instead of 2GIG.
The equipment they use is provided by 2GIG and Honeywell.
